CUSTOMER RENTING POLICY

Customer’s Responsibility
The primary renter (Customer) is responsible for the vehicle and financially responsible for all charges.

Additional Drivers
In keeping with CarRentalToronto4U’s policy of providing you with value for your renting dollar, we do not charge for additional drivers noted on your rental agreement.

Gasoline
All our vehicles are rented with a full tank of gas. To extend this courtesy to future customers we ask that you please return the vehicle with a full tank of gas. Vehicles not returned with a full tank of gas will be subject to a surcharge, plus the cost of refuelling.

Fluid Levels
Please have all fluid levels checked at every gasoline refill. The CarRentalToronto4U licensee will reimburse customers for all fluids (except gas) that the vehicle requires (with proper receipts).

Breakdowns
Please note that any minor problem $20.00 or less (eg. Fan belt, radiator hose, etc.) should be repaired and a receipt kept. Any problem of an unknown or serious nature must be reported immediately to either CarRentalToronto4U, the nearest Rent-A-Wreck location or to our office. Please ask about Personal Accident Plus protection which includes coverage for roadside assistance and more.
Negligent or careless use of our vehicles (including gravel road usage) resulting in damages, is the responsibility of the customer. Please return vehicles in a clean condition. Excessively dirty vehicles are subject to a cleaning surcharge.

Accidents and Insurance
Please report all accidents to CarRentalToronto4U within 24 hours or the collision damage waiver becomes null and void and all damages will be the responsibility of the customer. Please note that any driver not listed on the contract is uninsured and all physical damages caused by this driver will be the responsibility of the customer. Any driver convicted of driving under the influence voids all insurance coverage and all damages will be the responsibility of the customer. There is no comprehensive glass coverage included. Ask about our Tire and Glass Waiver.

Tickets
It is the responsibility of the customer to pay for all parking and speeding tickets received during rental. Please advise us of all parking, radar and speeding tickets received upon return of the rented vehicle. There is a surcharge for each unpaid parking, multanova (radar or photo radar) and speeding ticket.

TERMS OF USE

Your use of the CarRentalToronto4U website is governed by these Terms of Use. If you visit, use or make purchases on this web site, you accept these conditions. We may update these terms from time to time. Each version of our Terms of Use is marked with a version number and an effective date.

Restrictions on Use
Except as may be explicitly permitted through this site, you will not save, download, cut and paste, sell, license, rent, lease, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit, or create derivative works from materials, code or content on or from this site. Systematic retrieval of data or other content from this site to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, compilation, database or directory without written permission from us is prohibited. In addition, use of the content or materials for any purpose not expressly permitted in this Agreement is prohibited.

You agree that you shall not try to reverse engineer, reverse assemble, reverse compile, de-compile, disassemble, translate or otherwise alter any executable code, contents or materials on or received via this site. You understand that such actions are likely to subject you to serious civil and criminal legal penalties and that we shall pursue such penalties to the full extent of the law to protect our rights.

You agree that you will not use this site to violate any laws, or conduct any activity that gives rise to some liability or otherwise harm the goodwill associated with our intellectual property.

You also agree that you shall not harvest or collect information about users of this site or use such information for the purpose of transmitting or facilitating transmission of unsolicited bulk email or communications for any other purpose of your own or a third party.

If we issue you a username and password, you agree to use your best efforts to prevent access to this site through your username and password by anyone other than yourself.

Termination
We reserve the right to terminate your use of this site at any time without notice for any reason.

Disclaimer of Warranties
WE AND OUR ADVERTISERS AND LICENSORS MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES ABOUT THIS SITE, THE SUITABILITY OF THE INFORMATION CONTAINED ON OR RECEIVED THROUGH USE OF THIS SITE, OR ANY SERVICES OR PRODUCTS RECEIVED THROUGH THIS SITE. ALL INFORMATION AND USE OF THIS SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CarRentalToronto4U, its franchisees, advertisers, licensors, subsidiaries and other affiliated companies, and their employees, contractors, officers, agents and directors from all liabilities, claims, and expenses, including attorney’s fees, that arise from your use of this site, or any services, information or products from this site, or any violation of these Terms of Use. We reserve the right, at our expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you shall cooperate in asserting any available defenses.

Intellectual Property
All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio and video clips, and software, is the property of CarRentalToronto4U or its content suppliers and protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. The compilation (meaning the collection, arrangement, and assembly) of all content on this site is the exclusive property of CarRentalToronto4U and protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. The content and software on this site may be used as a shopping resource. Any other use, including the reproduction, modification, distribution, transmission, republication, display, or performance, of the content on this site is strictly prohibited.

When we receive proper notification of alleged copyright infringement, we promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers as described herein in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. These Terms of Use are subject to and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi, excluding its conflict of laws principles. You agree to the personal jurisdiction by and venue in the state and federal courts in Jackson, Mississippi, and waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue. If any part of these Terms of Use are determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision, and the remainder of the Agreement continues in effect.
